Dallas Davidson

Dallas Davidson is an award-winning, American country music songwriter. He is one of those rare individuals that can make anyone feel at ease. His credits include three #1 hits for "Start A Band", recorded as a duet by Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, "That's How Country Boys Roll", recorded by Billy Currington, and "Gimmie That Girl", recorded by Joe Nichols. Dallas' other credits include two #2 hits for Trace Adkins with "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" and for Brooks & Dunn with "Put A Girl In It", as well as a Top Five country hit for Jack Ingram with "Barefoot And Crazy." Dallas is also the recipient of three Broadcast Music, Inc. (BMI) Awards.

Dallas co-wrote the smash hit "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk", with buddies Jamey Johnson and Randy Houser. Recorded by Trace Adkins, "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk" went to #2 on the country charts in early 2006. It also propelled Trace’s ‘Songs About Me’ album to double-platinum status. The Top Five song also achieved success as a Platinum Single Download and Ringtone.

The Brad Paisley and Keith Urban duet "Start a Band", reached #1 in early 2009. In 2010, the song was nominated for a Grammy in the category for “Best Country Collaboration with Vocals”.

Dallas Davidson, Billy Currington, and Brett Jones wrote the 2009 single “That’s How Country Boys Roll”, which made it to #1 on the country charts in March of 2010.

"Put a Girl In It" by Brooks & Dunn, "Barefoot and Crazy" by Jack Ingram, and "Gimmie That Girl" by Joe Nichols, are all collaborations with Rhett Akins and Ben Hayslip. "Gimmie That Girl" made it to #1 on the charts in April 2010. The newest releases from these three hit songwriters are Josh Turner's "All Over Me" and Blake Shelton's "All About Tonight".

In addition, Dallas and his longtime friend Luke Bryan wrote Luke's second release, "Rain Is a Good Thing", off his sophomore album titled 'Doin' My Thing', (another Davidson co-write). Dallas has also co-written Jewel's newest single, "Stay Here Forever".

Many other successful country artists have discovered Dallas’ unique brand of country. Artists such as Jamey Johnson, Randy Houser, Tim McGraw, Montgomery Gentry, Keith Anderson, Jake Owen, Colt Ford, Rodney Atkins, Chris Young, Chris Cagle, Justin Moore, and Houston County have all put their voices to Dallas' songs.
